Excellent video.... for showing crash pad/dash removal... for gaining access of components under the crash pad/dash. In my opinion this video demonstrates the basics that can be used for all manufactures. One thing I saw; you didn’t say what to do if you couldn’t get the heater hose off the heater core inlet/outlet. Maybe you demonstrated this in other videos, but I always split the heater hose with a razor blade to remove the hose, instead of destroying the heater core.Read more...

I have a 94 acura vigor when I turn my ac or headlights on the motor strains(good alternator and brand new battery) and causes the check engine light to come on and then it won't rev over 3000 rpms and my rpms gauge jumps. The check engine lights says it my crank position sensor code 4, and I replaced it with a new one and still does the same thing, And I checked my plug wires while its running and when I pulled my 3rd spark plug wire out it would arc at the distributor(new wires and I checked them) please help.Read more...
The El Toro Electric Bull Horn is loud, looks good, and has a nice heavy mounting bracket making it easy to install (provided you have the space)! I used one to replace the rusted out original horn on a 82' Jeep CJ -7, and then I put another one our new motor home to supplement and work with the exisiting automobile horns on it. Better hope it's not a blower motor, that would just blow! lol I bought my Vigor with a busted blower motor and after seeing the $250 Price tag and the amount of work it takes to replace it I decided to not even bother with it. You have to tear the whole dash apart and drain the AC to replace it. I found that if I open my sunroof and back passenger window just a little bit I can get it to blow pretty good when I'm driving over 35 MPH. I guess if I wanted to I could stick a couple of those 12V PC power supply fans on there and it would work just as good but I have never had the motivation and I live in the Pacific Northwest so its either really cold or really hot you get used to it after a while.Read more...
ive been having problems the last little while with my 93 Acura Virgor. When i first bought it all seemed to be fine and dandy on the test drive and when I took a look at the engine, started up no problems and a very smooth ride. Then i went and got gas and my battery died. I figured it was a used car and that yah the battery could just be done so I went and got a new one and then my car would start and then suddenly die. it would take a few times for it to start up and i would have to give it gas. from there i came across even more problems. now i m only running on three of five cylinders and my car shake very bad and when i tried driving it it wouldn t go passed 40 and backfires while doing it. I did the obvious and changed the plugs, plug wires tested out distributor and all that and nothing. I was told that it could be the head gasket but who knows so i wanna run a diagnostics test on it with out using a scanner and don t know where to start! Its not much help but I had to pull the same engine out of an Inspire once, it really wasnt fun cuz its a weird engine, it was an auto though, and I never removed the tranny from the engine, just pulled the whole lot so the bodyman could paint everything in there.. They're nice cars, have good power, and are pretty fast..but keep an eye on the temp level Ive seen several overheat and melt the distributor cap on the back, which is a pain cuz its right by the firewall..also the distributor seals leak oil onto the exhaust.. In this segment we cover the disassembly of the HVAC assembly and replace the blower motor. I also so the operation of the blower motor itself. There's a lot of fasteners here and 2 different screw sizes. Be sure to keep them organized while you work so that you don't miss anything when you reassemble. It's a lot of work for sure but worth it in the end. Having the HVAC out like this also gives you the opportunity to clean out the inside of the assembly as this system did not use a cabin air filter. Now you know why we use those now. We have much cleaner HVAC systems as a result.Read more...
In 1994, Toyota began slapping superchargers on the 2.4 liter engines found in their minivans. Since nobody  supercharges a minivan, we had to include this one on the list, and this engine was not only odd because it was supercharged (something Toyota is not known for at all) but in that it featured a unique mid-engine layout directly beneath the front seats. While the motor was sound in design, its positioning was not, and changing spark plugs typically involved removing a passenger seat, carpet, and an access panel just to get to the damn thing.Read more...

"I bought this car when it was about 8 years old. It had been well-maintained; it drove beautifully, very comfortable, CD player and cruise control didn't work but neither a big problem. For years, it didn't need anything other than regular maintenance. Engine light came on but was still under the 150,000 warrantee. Only in the last year has it started to have some problems - small leaks, ac stopped working, rust underneath, engine light (not a major problem). But for it's age, I'm not surprised. Still gets 20 mpg, more on highway. Great car!"Read more...
i had the same problem with oil leaking too, i tried all kind of stop leak. but only "lucas" oil stop leak worked, haven't leaked since.   My 92 Vigor had the same issue. I … t was initially diagnosed as a leaking oil pan gasket. I brought it to Acura and was advised that the leak came from the oil filter adapter assembly seal and not the oil pan gasket. To access this part, the front differential assembly had to come off along with the return hoses.Read more...
